Meet the New Budget Committee - the Super Friends!
The so-called “Super Committee” made up of Democratic and Republican congresspeople, has just been revealed.
The committee consists of:
- Aquaman
- Batman
- Robin
- Superman
- Wonder Woman
- The Flash
Assisting them will be Wendy and Marvin, the Wonder Twins, and for added hilarity, Gleek the monkey (representing the Tea Party) and Wonder Dog.
“We’re ready to fight for truth, justice and the American way,”
Said spokesman Superman bursting through the roof of the capital building.
“We can’t let the far right– I mean Legion of Doom — destroy our country by only catering to the very wealthy.”
