(Washington) Democrats and Republicans have averted a fiscal crisis by announcing a plan to roll over 14 Trillion dollars of U.S. government debt onto a Discover card.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The United States of America is pre-approved for the Discover More card. Portugal, Ireland and Greece were recently turned down due to bad credit scores.<\/p><\/div>\n

After 5 days of intense negotiations, leaders of the two parties have been under pressure from the Obama administration but have agreed on a temporary solution to the looming debt crisis: rolling over trillions of dollars onto a Discover card.<\/p>\n

“Look, we know this is a temporary solution, but it’s better than raising the debt ceiling again.”<\/p>\n

Obama said earlier today.<\/p>\n

“With Discover get a 0.00% Intro Purchase APR for 15 months.\u00c2\u00a0 After that it’s a 11.99% \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 19.99% Variable Purchase APR.\u00c2\u00a0 But I swear we’re gonna try to pay off the debt before that 15 months comes around.”<\/p>\n

“Plus we get 5% cash back.\u00c2\u00a0 If the government spends only 1Billion on the card that would be what, 50 Million bucks?\u00c2\u00a0 Sweet.”<\/p>\n

The only hold up seems to be the card design for the new debt card.<\/p>\n

Liberal Democrats say they like either the cute tabby or the beagle design.

Tea Party members of congress are calling the pet designs “too wimpy” and favor the American Spirit design.

And the always unpredictable Ron Paul is holding out for the Texas state flag as the design on the new Debt Rollover Discover card.
