A senior spokesman for Al-Qaeda admitted today that the terrorist organization had no backups for the data seized after the May 1st raid on Osama Bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“I know we should have had backups.” \u00c2\u00a0said Al-Qaeda’s Senior IT manager, who only wanted to be identified by his first name, Omar.<\/p>\n

“Hard drives fail, it’s only a matter of time, blah, blah, blah. \u00c2\u00a0But look, it’s been kind of crazy around here. \u00c2\u00a0Also, we have different types of operating systems, Macs, PCs, some Unix. \u00c2\u00a0And the hardware? \u00c2\u00a0Forget about it. \u00c2\u00a0Some of the backups were on external drives, some on DVDs, we even had some old Zip disks, believe it or not.”
\n“I was always telling Osama to get some kind of automated system, but he wouldn’t hear of it. \u00c2\u00a0I was pushing for something cutting edge like a Cloud system, but, as Osama pointed out, who do we call if we need tech support?”<\/p>\n

“Hello, this is Al-Qaeda, can you help us backup our plans to kill people?” \u00c2\u00a0Omar said, miming a telephone call.<\/p>\n

“My nephew backed up a lot of people onto a USB drive, but then that<\/em> crashed. \u00c2\u00a0So were screwed. \u00c2\u00a0The Americans caught us with our thobes down.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
