Well Obama has prevailed and has now been re-elected as President of the United States.<\/p>\n

His victory could be attributed to many things: his oratory skills, his excellent grass roots political campaign, his grasp of the issues.<\/p>\n

But we here at the Fishington Cheesington Post believe only one thing brought Barack Obama to victory in 2012: our own snarky blog posts.<\/p>\n

We made fun of Michele Bachmann<\/a>, Rick Perry<\/a>, Rick Santorum<\/a>, Newt Gingrich<\/a> and even John Huntsman<\/a> (who?). <\/p>\n

We criticized Romney’s animal cruelty<\/a>, his disdain for the environment<\/a> and his mendacity<\/a> <\/p>\n

We didn’t canvas, make calls or write letters. But we believe satire, sarcasm and poorly-done graphics put Obama over the top.<\/p>\n

Will we be invited to the White House? <\/p>\n
