The Concise Oxford English Dictionary has added 400 words to its dictionary, including retweet, woot, sexting and cyberbullying.

Some things still left out:
A man named Umar al-Basrawi posted a threat on an Internet forum against David Letterman, asking if there was anyone who would “would to cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever?”
I thought Jay Leno might be behind it, but his rating have been a lot better than Letterman’s recently.
P.S. Why would this guy think he was Jewish? He obviously never saw the show.

But Sesame Workshop nixed that idea in a statement posted on the official Sesame Street Facebook page on Thursday:
“Bert and Ernie are best friends. They were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves. Even though they are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics (as most Sesame Street Muppets do), they remain puppets, and do not have a sexual orientation.”

With over 8,000 total signatures, the original petition read: “We are not asking that Sesame Street do anything crude or disrespectful by allowing Bert and Ernie to marry. It can be done in a tasteful way. Let us teach tolerance of those that are different. Let Sesame Street and PBS Kids be a big part in saving many worthy lives.”

VIENNA — A famed Austrian museum has fired an employee for washing his hands and face with his urine.
Alfred Zoppelt says he was fired after 23 years of working as an attendant at the Belvedere, a castle in Vienna with a major art collection. He says his adherence to urine therapy was previously “never a problem.”
Zoppelt, 57, said Thursday his notice from Belvedere says he was fired because “you regularly rub urine into your skin, particularly the face and hands. With this, you soil your place of work … and threaten the health of your co-workers.”
A woman answering the Belvedere press department phone confirmed that Zoppelt was fired but refused to give her name or further information.
Believers in urine therapy claim medical and cosmetic benefits but these have not been proven.
